Season 1
When Cal finds out his boyfriend Thom has been cheating on him with Jeremy their relationship is turned upside down. Cal’s free spirited best friend Kathy, is always there for him with a bottle of whiskey in her purse, but she has problems with her nice-guy boyfriend, Ian, even if they’re all in her head. Will the lies tear them apart, or are they just stubborn enough to stay together forever? Drunken outbursts and double standards abound in this dark comedy about the sad and funny messes we make out of our lives.
Season 2
Is being in love enough of a reason to stay together? Cal has moved out of the apartment he and Thom shared in Silver Lake, but they have started to see each other again. They no longer trust each other (or themselves) to remain completely exclusive, and experiment with opening up their relationship in an effort to determine exactly what kind of couple they want to be. The ensemble expands to include Cal’s eccentric sister Hillary who falls into an emotionally codependent relationship with Ian, on the rebound after finally breaking up with Kathy, and Quincy, a dramatic party promoter who can't stop performing long enough to connect with Douglas, an aspiring drag queen and door girl that might just be his match.
Season 3
The great American Road Trip is about to get a lot gayer. Our heroes Cal and Thom drive crosscountry from New York to Los Angeles to pick up the pieces of their old life, but nothing can prepare them for the unexpected twists and turns they'll face on the journey home.
Season 4
After the events of season 3, Thom and Cal are back in Silver Lake with their relationship on (comparatively) solid ground, Douglas and Quincy are engaged to be married, Hillary and Ian are cohabiting peacefully and Jeremy and Derrick are talking about having kids. But in the world of EastSiders, nothing is ever as romantic as it appears.

The morning after. Boyfriends Thom and Cal wake up and face the revelations of the previous night.
Episode 2
The night before. Thom, Cal, Kathy, and Ian attend Quincy's end of the world party.
Episode 3
Cal confronts the "other woman," aka Jeremy, and Kathy discovers a major miscommunication with Ian.
Episode 4
Thom receives a text from Jeremy and ignores it while Kathy and Ian talk about the state of their relationship.
Episode 5
Jeremy smokes pot with his sister Bri. Cal and Kathy commiserate over their secrets.
Episode 6
Quincy drops Kathy off at the clinic and takes Ian along to a gay bar with David, much to David's surprise...
Episode 7
It's the end of the month and the apartment is in boxes. Cal and Thom are moving out and Thom has begun seeing Jeremy. Jeremy asks Thom to move in with him. His answer is a little surprising.
Episode 8
It is one year ago and Cal and Thom are spending their first morning in their apartment. Kathy comes over with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Thom promises Cal that he won't cheat on him again- showing that this pattern goes way back.
