About
Inspired by the American series, "Desperate Housewives", the show features three pairs of couples and the roles women play in these relationships: A couple with a seven-year age gap; an ambitious couple who begins to realize the consequences of climbing the corporate ladder; and a traditional couple conflicted between the traditional and modern stereotypes of women in society.

Episode 1
KO CHI LING is glad that her business trip was cancelled. She heads for home in delight, but is shocked to find her husband MAN KING LEUNG cheating on her. She demands a divorce. She does not want her father to know about her separation with LEUNG, thus checks in a hotel temporarily. The house of the KO’s family needs renovation. LING’s father WING TIM decides to undertake a complete make over as a gesture to welcome his baby grandson. LING lends him all her savings of $200,000 in the name of LEUNG. LING comes across LEUNG’s mistress GINNY at the fitness center. GINNY makes fun of LING and they end up in a quarrel. Coach CHAI FOON overhears their conversation. LING works at “PLUTO” and her superior at work has been dismissed.… ...
Episode 2
LING plans to finish the research report on her own, but FOON helps out when she is asleep. She is praised by HILDA the next day and appreciates FOON’s help. She treats FOON to lunch. They come across LEUNG and GINNY at the restaurant. FOON pretends to be LING’s boyfriend and helps her get back at LEUNG. TIM mistakenly thinks LING is having an affair and hits FOON. LING and FOON go to “PLEASE” to negotiate with LEUNG on the display fee. LEUNG asks for a three percent increase and tries to coax LING into signing the contract. However, GINNY suddenly appears and blows the deal. HILDA on the one hand blames LEUNG for playing politics, and on the other, pressures LING to close the deal with LEUNG by threatening him with a divorce. LING is stranded. TIM is about to have his birthday and LEUNG tells LING he is willing to organise a banquet for him. FOON reminds LING to be careful, for he believes LEUNG has other intentions.… ...
Episode 3
HILDA urges LING to close the deal with LEUNG and threatens to fire her. LING is upset and tells HILDA that she and LEUNG have already separated. LING proposes a plan to convince drug stores from selling unlicensed products. HILDA supports her proposition, but FOON thinks it is not feasible. He suggests contacting the drug store association first. He also discloses that his grandfather CHAI LOI used to be quite influential in the drug store business. LING follows FOON to visit his grandmother CHEUNG PAK CHI on Lamma Island. Unfortunately, CHI and FOON’s mother TONG LAI CHU are having a quarrel. HILDA has a dinner appointment with her boss MA SAI HIN and his wife VENUS. HILDA and VENUS are very good friends. However, she is upset to know HIN and VENUS have invited KP to join their dinner. KP is the Asia-Pacific Executive Vice President of “PLEASE” and also the ex-boyfriend of HILDA. She questions KP about the display fee negotiation.… ...
Episode 4
FOON is on a trip to Australia and LING, therefore, has to go to Lamma Island alone to seek CHI’s help to convince all drug stores’ bosses at a seafood banquet she is about to hold. CHI is delighted to see LING and teaches her how to make local delicacies. While LING is waiting for the ferry at the pier with all the drug stores’ bosses, CHI calls and demands to see FOON. She will not help organise the seafood banquet if FOON is not there to visit her. All the drug stores’ bosses then leave. LING is distressed. Suddenly, FOON appears. Annoyed, she snatches the box from FOON’s hands and throws it onto the ground. When she sees the ashes, she realises she has made a huge mistake. FOON’s brother and sister-in-law were killed in an accident in Australia and FOON went there to bring their daughter back to Hong Kong.… ...
Episode 5
LEUNG informs KONG WING NIN, the boss of “PLEASE”, that KP is taking advantage from the company by dealing with HILDA under the table. KP is caught red-handed and fired by NIN’s granddaughter CRYSTAL at once. “PLUTO” remains in contract with “PLEASE” and HILDA treats LING and FOON to a seafood dinner on Lamma Island. HILDA and LING visit a goddess temple there and the fortune-teller tells HILDA that she is going to have a daughter. LING will also have a second marriage in three months’ time. Both ladies have doubts. LING goes for a walk on the beach and when she approaches a giant rock, FOON pulls her away. He doesn’t want her to see the inscription “I want to marry KO CHI LING” there. FOON recalls he fell in love with LING when she became his private tutor. He asks LING to teach his niece WING YEE. LING finds YEE to be too obedient and quiet.… ...
Episode 6
HILDA gives IDA’s jewelry to YEE and teaches her to fight for what she wants. HILDA tells LING that she wants to get pregnant and become an unmarried mother. LING is shocked. CHU hates LING, since CHI and YEE favors her more. She accuses LING of pleasing CHI and YEE to get close to FOON. However, LING expressed that she is not interested in younger men like FOON. FOON is sad to hear that. HILDA is screening the leading actors for her TV commercial. She also wants to see if there is anyone suitable to make her pregnant, but, unfortunately, there is none. FOON volunteers to be the main actor and HILDA asks LING to try seduce him to test if he can be trusted. LING dresses in sexy outfits and buys FOON breakfasts. This makes him feel very uneasy. She then pretends to be drunk and seduces him at the hotel. FOON is nervous. LING and HILDA both agree that FOON is a good man, but LING hesitates and asks HILDA to let him go.… ...
Episode 7
LEUNG pretends to be suffering from “Road Crossing Phobia” and CRYSTAL blames herself for that. She decides to escort him to and from work. LEUNG is happy that his plan is working, but then he finds out CRYSTAL has studied body language at school and starts to worry that she will find out his pretence. HILDA tests FOON and is stunned to know that he is in love with LING. When FOON is shooting the TV commercial, HILDA teaches him to get into his role and try to impress LING. However, on the other hand, she makes LING distant from FOON. LING learns from the script that FOON is in love with her and FOON takes the opportunity to express his love. LING doesn’t know what to do and declines him, as instructed by HILDA. Feeling hurt, FOON gets drunk. HILDA takes the chance and takes him to a hotel. LING takes a short leave to avoid seeing FOON. FOON doesn’t give up and keeps sending her flowers and funny emails.… ...
Episode 8
HILDA, LING and FOON discuss their promotion plan for ladies’ napkins. FOON suggests promoting from a men’s angle and HILDA likes the idea. People at the office are gossiping about HILDA’s relationship with FOON. LING appears to be very agitated and keeps pointing out the bad side of an older woman dating a younger man. Whilst she is talking, LING remembers HILDA’s plan for pregnancy and starts to be worried about FOON. FOON believes LING has feelings for him, only she dares not to show them. HILDA suggests he goes to a hotel with her to make LING jealous. FOON agrees. LING is pissed when she knows that HILDA is spending the night with FOON while she is working hard with the rest of team at the office on the promotion project. She rushes to the hotel and sees that HILDA is seducing FOON into bed. Enraged, she scolds HILDA and blurts out she has fallen for FOON. FOON is delighted.… ...
