Pimp My Ride is a TV show produced by MTV. Each episode consists of taking one car in poor condition and restoring it, as well as customizing it. The original American version was hosted by rapper Xzibit. Recently, MTV2 has begun airing episodes from Pimp My Ride UK hosted by DJ Tim Westwood, which features cars being customised in the UK, and Pimp My Ride International, featuring cars in central Europe, hosted by hip hop artists Fat Joe and Lil' Jon, as well as the related CMT series Trick My Truck.

Wyatt's Daihatsu Hi-Jet
Ride Owner: Wyatt. 18 Year Old Male. Owner's Ride: 1988 Daihatsu Hi-Jet. Wyatt's an 18 year who just moved to L.A. Wyatt believes his car is holding him back from landing a job and making a new start for himself in L.A.. This "micro-van" is held together with duct tape. Side doors consist of little more than sheet metal and rivets. But that's all about to change. Xzibit is about to pimp his ride. Nile's Cadillac DeVille sedan
Ride Owner: Nile. Female. Owner's Ride: 1978 Cadillac DeVille sedan Nile Invested $700 into her ride. Nile pretty much got what she paid for. Her ride has a broken tail-light that's either saggin' or draggin', flowering rust spots, a thick layer of dirt, slashed up seats, and an ex-boyfriend inflicted dent. Nile's father says "I wish my own daughter wouldn't park her car in my driveway." Her life is about to change. Xzibit is about to pimp her ride. Logan's Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
Ride Owner: Logan. 20 Year Old Male. Owner's Ride: 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Logan's ride is sporting a smashed headlight, no radio, a broken driver's side window, twin dents on both sides, which Logan calls 'dimples', and fast food left in the back. Logan is in school aiming for a degree in business, so he needs a ride that means business. That suits Xzibit and the guys at West Coast Customs just fine because they're not here to play around. Xzibit is about to pimp his ride. Additions & Improvements: -Paint, lime green -18-inch chrome rims -Intercom system -Playstation 2 -7-inch screens -Portable gym locker in the trunk -Mini basketball court complete with a hoop in the trunk -Karaoke machine with a 15-inch monitor in the trunk Logan has officially been pimped. Christine's Honda Civic
Ride Owner: Christine. Female. Owner's Ride: 1992 Honda Civic. Christine's ride has a possessed alarm system that sounds for any little thing, a rusty banged up door that doesn't close, and when it rains, it pours inside of Christine's car. The water leaves a huge, murky puddle that can't be avoided. Her friends have labeled the Honda "swamp thing." Christine loves her grandmother so much she hates to have to bring her to the doctor's appointments in her car. Her ride is going into good hands. Xzibit is about to pimp her ride. Antwon's Mitsubishi Mirage
Ride Owner: Antwon. 19 Year Old Male. Owner's Ride: Mitsubishi Mirage. Antwon is a starving art student and his ride needs a desperate makeover. His "G" ride as he calls it, lacks a window, but he has a garbage bag covering it. The upholstery is ripped to shreds, the inside panel to the door is no more, the interior light is hanging on by a wire, the seats look like they're "undressing", and worst of all, this ride does not even have a radio. Antwon puts a boom box inside his car to listen to music. Xzibit and West Coast Customs come to the rescue and save his car. Xzibit is about to pimp his ride. Mary's Ford Mustang
Ride Owner: Mary. Female. Owner's Ride: 1967 Ford Mustang. Mary's ride, "Matty Mustang" as she likes to call it, belonged to Mary's sister and her mother before it was passed onto her. Unfortunately, after 15 years with the fam, "Matty Mustang" needs a lot of work. The Mustang is three different colors, four if you count rust, the windows are broken, there is stuffing from the seats everywhere, and although the seat belts work, the seats aren't even bolted to the car, and there is no floor beneath the driver's chair. Mary is taking her life into her hands with this ride, but, after all of these years, Matty is family. Mary even took an auto shop class to try to fix up her Mustang, but soon found out shop wasn't her thing when she tried to super glue the car back together. Thankfully Xzibit is on the scene to help revive this family heirloom. Xzibit is about to pimp her ride. Jared's Ford Ranger
Ride Owner: Jared. Male. Owner's Ride: 1985 Ford Ranger. Jared's ride is in rough shape. He delivers car parts for a living. Since the Ranger is less than reliable, Jared misses out on other jobs that he needs to make some money for school. With rotting paint, ripped-up seats, a zig-zag antenna and "bobble head" mirrors, Jared thinks that his other mode of transportation, skateboarding, would be safer than trusting in the Ranger. Jared doesn't have to worry anymore, because in the words of X, "We're going to take this pick up and really pick it up!" Xzibit is about to pimp his ride. Danelle's Pontiac Trans Am
Ride Owner: Danelle. Female. Owner's Ride: 1981 Pontiac Trans Am. Danelle loves her ride because it's a classic American muscle car but it's lacking some necessities, like mirrors. Her cars problems are a duct-taped side mirror, extremely threadbare seats, leaks, five different shades of paint, and unknown missing objects that Danelle is pretty sure are important. She's gonna get the surprise of her life. Xzibit is about to pimp her ride.
