Episode 1
Signs accompany the birth of a baby named Wang Lu. Eighteen years later, he meets Hai Yunfan during the Lingjian Sect's Immortality Conference.
Episode 2
Wang Lu and Yunfan help each other overcome challenges. To get the Xiaoyun Ancient Coin, Wang Wu makes the Taoyuan Village challenge more difficult.
Episode 3
Wang Zhong switches sides. Wang Lu makes a splash at the Taoyuan Village challenge. Wang Wu escalates another challenge, putting disciples in danger.
Episode 4
Wang Lu is found to have a unique spiritual root, which forces the Lingjian Sect to make a hard decision. However, he is able to make a request.
Episode 5
Zhu Qin finds an excuse to fight Wang Lu and Yunfan. At a training ground, an Outer Court disciple suddenly attacks Yunfan, but meets resistance.
Episode 6
The cause of a disciple's death is revealed, but an innocent Wang Lu still gets punished by Wang Wu. Later, he tracks Liuli Xian with Yunfan.
Episode 7
When Yunfan is under siege by black-cloaked men, Liuli Xian comes to his rescue. After that, Yunfan reveals a secret about his origin.

When Wang Lu reaches a new stage of Wuxiang Bones, Wang Wu asks him to search for Vermilion Fruits. Wang Lu harbors suspicions about Zhu Qin.
