Rising Star is an Indian version of the international franchise series Rising Star. It is a reality television singing competition. The program format lets viewers vote for contestants live via the television channel's mobile app. This is the first reality television show in India which involves live audience voting.

Double Dhamaal in Rising Star
Abhipsa and Ayesha's version of Shankar Mahadevan's Breathless and Das Vegas' Mayya Mayya sets the standard really high for the show. Maithili Thakur mesmerises the audience and the mentors with her song Bhor Bhaye. Kumar Sujoy's unique version of the song Main Solah Baras ki adds more glitter to the evening.
