Season 1
Sonja Ek is living a peaceful suburban life with her husband Fredrik and their three children. She runs her own accounting firm from her home in a nice Stockholm suburb. Everything changes when her husband is brutally murdered outside their home. Now, she is all alone with a debt she didn't know she had and that has to be paid.
Season 2
Sonja and her children Nina, Gustav and Linus are back in Sweden after hiding in Australia for a year.
Season 3
Despite the wish to keep the family out of the criminal circles, Sonja is once again drawn back into a lawless world of violence and brutal settlements -this time to save her children. Her family is at risk of ending up in the claws of ruthless criminals that will do anything to get what they want. Sonja is forced to use drastic measures if she is to have a chance of saving her family.
Season 4
Sonja wakes up after a six-month coma to find the world and her children have moved on without her: Nina is pregnant with Zac’s child, Linus lives in a foster home and Gustav is studying at the police academy. But some things never change: Sonja learns she has a price on her head courtesy of the Colombian cartel and must take desperate measures to pay them off. But the more she tries to put out the fire, the more the conflagration spreads out of control…
Season 5
Three years have passed since Sonja staged her own death. Sonja wants to leave her role as the Major and must travel to Stockholm to retrieve something that can absolve them from their life of crime for good. Her whole family is at stake.
Season 6
The family is reunited, but the pressure they have lived under for so long is starting to take its toll and it is eating away at the cohesion. How are they going to get back to a life of freedom?
Epilogue
The Ek siblings have gone limping on with their lives. They have little or no contact with each other anymore and when they do meet for the first time, they are subjected to a dramatic assassination attempt.

Season 1
Episode 1
Sonja Ek is living a happy and loveful life with her husband and her three children in a suburb outside of Stockholm. Everything changes one day as Sonja is forced to enter the criminal world in order to protect her children.
Episode 2
The family is staying at the hospital. Stein is pressed on information regarding the shooting of one of Broman's men. The police conducts a search at the family's house.
Episode 3
Sonja tries to figure out who the Major is. Stein searches for the missing cocaine. Niklas wants Sonja to take care of the Company while he's in jail. Broman demands money from Stein for the stolen cocaine. Linus gets a puppy from Anders.
Episode 4
Barry is at Stein's to get the money, but when Stein doesn't have enough he takes their paintings instead. Lukas watches over the children and Gustav gets a visit from Jill and they end up taking Ecstasy together.
Episode 5
Sonja continues the search for the Major. The police tell Niklas that Sonja is hanging out with Broman. Sonja's search leads her to Norway. Kattis persuades Sonja to go out and celebrate Hanna's birthday at Broman's restaurant.
Episode 6
Nina is missing. Has she ran away or has she been kidnapped? Sonja has told Lukas about what Stein has done and Lukas goes to see him. Broman suspects that Sonja knows who the Major is.
Episode 7
The police have started to watch Sonja 24 hours a day, they know she is hiding things. Sonja and Magdalena manage to fool the police. Kattis puts both Sonja and Stein against the wall. Linus begins to remember.
Episode 8
It's a funeral. Linus remembers more and more and wants to tell Sonja. Kattis gets a bad feeling about who is responsible for the bomb. Sonja begins to realise that Niklas has been lying to her and understands more and more how everything is connected.
