Season 1
Episode 1
Cheok Hee is retained for the divorce of top actress Han Mi Ri. With opposing counsel being the owner of a major firm, she fiercely attacks with unlawful acts to prevail. Upright Jeong Woo endeavors to stop her but fails spectacularly. While she crows in delight at winning the divorce, unexpected and shocking news reverses her situation.
Episode 2
Just as sworn enemies are fated to face off on a rope bridge, Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo meet again in the worst possible place, three years after the Dong Gu case. Now reunited at work, they snap and growl at each other. Jeong Woo sends a potential client for Choice Law Firm away, saying he cannot assist unless she has a suitable reason for divorce. Cheok Hee cannot stand this and, without Jeong Woo knowing, follows the client and prepares to collect evidence.

The must-see moment when Lee Hong Yeon’s husband’s extramarital affair is revealed! The scene is laid out just as expected, and she has firmly made up her mind to divorce. But, shocking everyone, he says the most surprising thing. Meanwhile, Cheok Hee has gone to court on an errand for Jeong Woo. She comes face to face with BF CEO In Jae, and whatever remaining pride she had left vanishes.

With her husband’s fifth affair under his belt, this client has vowed she will divorce him for certain this time. Cheok Hee hears the client has brought a crane to catch him with the other woman and implores Jeong Woo to hurry over by the subway. Jeong Woo gasps for breath in the station as soon as he sees the subway lights and falters.
Episode 5
While filing a consensual divorce application in court, Cheok Hee runs into In Jae and Hye Rin. She is shocked to learn that Jeong Woo was not the one who ratted her out to BF Law Firm, but she can’t bring herself to apologize to Jeong Woo. She remembers Yoo Mi saying, “Lawyer So likes you,” and recalls how many times Jung-woo quietly shielded her. She begins to see him in a different light.
Episode 6
Thanks to a client who wants to get a divorce over kissing, Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo grow awkward after an unforeseen accident. Jeong Woo meets the husband and suggests they each face their fears. Meanwhile, Soo Ah is contacted by someone who knows the woman who saved Jeong Woo’s life in the subway crash.
Episode 7
With Jeong Woo’s pleas to not go hanging over her head, Cheok Hee turns down Min Gyu and rushes to a client at the hospital. Cheok Hee suspects the wife of insurance fraud and searches for evidence, but Jeong Woo can’t help but feel conflicted. Meanwhile, the witness tells Soo Ah shocking information about who saved Jeong Woo, but Soo Ah cannot bear to convey that truth to Jeong Woo.
Episode 8
An outpouring of requests for divorce consultations comes in after “Animal Farm,” and Jeong Woo is retained by a client who had her limbs amputated following a medical accident in childbirth and whose husband now demands a divorce and child custody. Opposing counsel is BF’s In Jae. Min Gyu knows this and messes with Jeong Woo’s mind in front of Cheok Hee. Jeong Woo declares he will win, but worries lie ahead.
