She's the Sheriff is an American sitcom created by Dan Guntzelman and Steve Marshall. Aired in syndication for two seasons from September 1987 to April 1989, the series stars Suzanne Somers as Hildy Granger, a young woman whose husband, the sheriff of fictional Lakes County, Nevada, is killed by a drunk driver. Now widowed with two teenage children to support, Hildy accepts the county commissioner's offer to appoint her as sheriff, despite her lack of relevant experience. The show focuses on her efforts to handle the daily problems of locals and tourists, while learning to work with her four deputies. In particular, Hildy has routine disagreements with Max Rubin, who sees her undeserving of the job.

Eva Gabor beeds help catching the person who stole her ruby. The perpetrator is a notorious jewel thief known as The Butterfly, a case that the late Sheriff Granger was working on.
Unsafe at Any Speed
Max gives Hildy advice in hopes to cause her early retirement, but his plan backfires and she nabs an international spy on her first day.
A Little Romance
Rubin's father Frank visits and everyone is shocked to see that he is nothing like his son. Gussie takes a liking to him and Hildy's not pleased. When she puts her foot down, Gussie tells her she and Frank are going to live together.
Lover Boy
Rubin spitefully enters Hildy's picture into a magazine called Loverboy, who expect her to pose for it. Also, a sheik fights for Hildy's affections.
Monkey Business
A monkey is brought in on suspicion of drunk driving. Kenny blames someone at the station for breaking the front window. Rubin tries to get Hildy in trouble for animal abuse.
Max Moves In
Hildy pulls all the stops to try to get a thank you out of Rubin after he moves in with her and her family and drives everyone to their breaking points.
Poker Fever
Hildy is on a string of good luck which her mother calls 'The Golden Streak'.
