KO YAU PANG is a senior instructor in a Chinese cuisine training school. Besides teaching at school, he loves cooking for the family, too. Today is PANG’s birthday. YAT MOON learns from his younger sister YAU TSING that YAU YEE spends a lot of money on his clothes but gives very little to the family. YAT MOON exposes the reality to the KO family and all members are enraged. They confiscate all the expensive clothes of YAU YEE and demand him to develop a sense of responsibility towards the family. However, YAU YEE tries to play tricks to the family with his childhood playmate…

YUET MOON never cooks for the family and she enjoys her leisurely life very much. However, she learns that her colleague MEI NA has been deserted by her boyfriend because she cannot cook. YUET MOON is worried… YUET MOON wants to be the perfect wife. She starts to prepare breakfast for YAU PANG and calls him frequently at work. YAU PANG feels nervous with her change…

KO HING quarrels with MIU HEI on trivial matters and he moves to YAU PANG’s house with anger. He plays Erhu at the balcony. Somebody cannot withstand the noise and this person throws rubbish to him. PANG’s relatives invite the KO family to their daughter’s wedding banquet. However, YAT MOON is not on the list for his surname is not KO. YAT MOON is unhappy and eats cup noodle alone at home. On the next day, YAT MOON is absent for the family’s morning tea gathering. HING discovers that YAT MOON is hanging around with a staff at the pharmacy. PANG’s daughter TING tries hard to please every family member for she wants PANG to buy her a piano. PANG finally agrees to buy the piano but TING gives up learning piano very soon and she claims that she has no talents on music. TING starts to learn Thai boxing. PANG rushes to the Thai Boxing School and urges TING to continue learning piano. The Thai boxing instructor appreciates PANG very much and urges PANG to become his student. PANG has no choice but to give it a try in order to please TING…
Episode 7
The frequent customers of HING’s pharmacy appreciate their new Chinese doctor SANG very much and HING is upset. HING starts a quarrel with HEI and HEI asks HING to take charge of the family financial matters. HING checks up the price in every supermarket. He also agrees to buy everything for all family members and everyone is pleased. However, HING has eventually bought too much and their home becomes a warehouse. Everybody finds it unbearable.

YEE always have bad luck. He runs into an old friend who works as a fortuneteller. His friend helps him to identify his lucky star and the person who brings disasters to him. YEE confirms that YAU PANG is his lucky star and YAT MOON is the person who brings disasters to him. YEE therefore starts setting up geomantic formation at the house and everybody is puzzled about it. YAT MOON is upset about this and challenges YEE to a bet on their horse gambling result…
