What makes two become one? Family background and social status? Expectations and opinions of others? Good timing? Or their physical attraction for each other? Internationally acclaimed artist Chloe Tung Hoi-Yiu makes use of her die-hard supporter Yu Chun-Tung to stop the gossip about her love affairs and thus to turn around her image. After spending a lot of time with him, she gets to know the taste of true love for the first time. Although the relationship is nothing more than just a show, she finds it impossible to leave this ordinary man. As they negotiate the travails of life and love, Chloe and Chun-Tung become intertwined with the lives of three other couples. What is love anyway? An excuse or a weakness? A duty or a punishment?

Episode 1
International-acclaimed artist TUNG OI-YIU admits at a press conference that she did go out with a best actor but their relationship was already history. The press conference is being shown at a video shop. YU CHUN-TUNG, who is a typical Otaku who lives in Mong Kok, stops at the shop, just as he does every time YIU’s movies or news are being played. Meanwhile he sees his boss, FUNG CHI-MING, being fined by a tobacco control officer for smoking in a non-smoking area. YEUNG CHI-WAH and his wife FUNG YIU-DAN work at the same TV station as news anchors. They are good friends with sports commentator POON CHUN-HIM. In a football match kicked off by YIU and presented by HIM, a footballer picks up a fight with HO CHIU-WING the referee after being given a red card. HIM and his girlfriend, TONG HAU-NING, who is a nurse, eat on the bus. A passenger goes up to interfere in them.… ...

Rumor has it that YIU is trying to make a pass at realty tycoon MR. YAU. YIU’s agent, TUNG MEI-MEI, calls on an emergency meeting to discuss how to resolve YIU’s image crisis. YIU wants have dry fried noodles with beef for dinner when she is home. MEI does not let her though, passing her a can of lemon tea she endorses instead. TUNG has woken up from his coma. YIU has hit the covers of a few magazines. TIN TSAT and other friends of buy a copy of each of those for TUNG. TUNG is meeting with YIU soon. He gets so nervous that he needs to talk to Venerable WING-HUNG. YIU is surrounded by the paparazzi. TUNG tries his best to help her avoid them. When he sees LEUNG having an argument with some hooligan, he jumps at the chance to escort YIU to the peak. The stock market has fallen considerably. HO cannot believe it HANG has managed to be unaffected.… ...
Episode 3
The media presumes that TUNG is YIU’s new boyfriend. MEI arranges an overseas commercial shooting for YIU at once so as to safeguarding her image. YIU has gone disappeared. It turns out that she has gone out to look for TUNG, who shows her around Mong Kok and takes her to the cinema. As they leave, they find themselves in front of cameras. TUNG has no choice but to take YIU to the electrical appliance shop he works for. HIM is attending his good friend ANDY’s wedding. He sees the name of his first girl friend, LAW WING-CHI, in the seating plan. An old man smokes in the hospital. LEUNG goes up to CHING’s help when he sees the old man making things difficult for her. YIU’s assistant invites TUNG to dine with YIU. As he is on his way to their appointment, someone starts a fire on him. He is forced to take off his trousers. The video of the incident is being circulated in the Internet like mad.
Episode 4
DAN presents the news of how TUNG, YIU’s rumored boyfriend, made a spectacle of himself, adding that it has been widely reported worldwide. When asked about her relationship with TUNG, YIU announces that she is withdrawing from the showbiz. CHING and LEUNG run into each other at the hospital canteen. They are surprised to find that they have similar eating habits. Venerable WING-HUNG patronizes Almond Cake Girl, a popular cake shop in Mong Kok. When COCO, the salesperson, knows that he is sharing the cakes with TUNG, she decides not to charge him. MEI is rather put out at YIU’s retirement announcement that she decides to move out of her flat. YIU plans to enroll in an archeology course after she has stepped down. NING is taken aback when HIM suggests that they get married. HO has lost a great deal of money in the stock market. MEI intends to stage a comeback for YIU.
Episode 5
YIU shares her opinions on aliens with her professor in a field trip. HANG starts to lose hair recently. WAI, who now works for YIU, asks his hairstyling assistant to do something about HANG’s hair. HANG and CHEUNG HEI-YIN bump into each other again. He wants to share with her his story, but she cares about something else. YIN is taking care of her mother’s legal battle for her late father’s money and assets. To her surprise, her mother decides to give up her father’s legacy, which is worth over a hundred million dollars, and wants only the restaurant he has left behind. HO CHUN-KIU runs into MING in a back alley. Their encounter reminds her of how she got to know her late husband. LEUNG did not know until he meets CHING again that she is at least a few inches taller than him. HIM has failed to register for NING and his marriage. NING knows that he does not really want to marry her. YIU invites TUNG to go on a field trip with her.… ...
Episode 6
TUNG wakes up to find COCO lying beside him. He makes her change before she goes out of the door but LAW SAU-YUE and the others still recognize her. TUNG goes to see YIU, who in fact is on her way to get even with him. MEI and her team are busy working out a master plan for YIU’s comeback. YIU opens MEI’s safe in secret with an aim to prove that she has embezzled money from the company. Instead of finding any money she finds MEI’s medical report. CHING runs into LEUNG after exercising. She tells him frankly that the fact that they get along very well does not mean they can be lovers. He agrees so. HANG’s hair loss problem is not any better. He decides to go for the secret concoction of an unorthodox doctor. The paparazzi have been following TUNG. As a result, he has to put up at a hotel for the time being.… ...
Episode 7
YIU cannot find TUNG anywhere. It turns out that MEI, worried that he would harm YIU, has had him taken away by a bodyguard. YIU wants to give her a good telling-off but changes her mind when she sees MEI start to throw up. YIU announces her comeback plan at a press conference. When asked about her views on love, she replies that an ordinary relationship is still what she is after. DAN has arranged a blind date for HIM. He is taken aback by his date. CHING has uploaded a piece of love poem to the Internet using YIU’s blog account. As a result, the media is under the false impression that YIU is still going out with TUNG. DAN sees ANNIE fighting with ANDY when she is picking HIM up. After listening to ANNIE’s explanation, she gets so worked up that she demands ANNIE to break up with ANDY. LEUNG has decided to express his love for his goddess. CHING worries that her goddess is no one else but her.
Episode 8
HO strikes up a conversation with YIN at a nightclub. As he chats, he makes fun of HANG by mocking his hair. Thanks to YIN’s help HANG manages to save his face, though he is curious to know her intention. DAN is disappointed that she is still not pregnant. HIM cannot understand why she does not tell WAH what she really thinks. DAN has arranged another blind date for HIM. He is astonished to find that his date this time is TONG-TONG. WAH almost gets killed when he is covering stories from a war zone. COCO’s blog becomes the attention of the media soon after she has expressed her appreciation for YIU in her blog. She is so popular now even MEI wants to invites her to join her entertainment company. HIM invites TONG to join him in a charity walk. She twists her feet in the middle of the walk and so he carries her on his back. Having had enough nuisance calls, CHING decides to change her cell phone number.… ...
