About
In the Kanto region of Japan, seven high schools take place in a turf war for territorial supremacy: Nanyo Academy, Kyosho Academy, Seito Academy, Yoshu Academy, Rakuyo High School, Gogun High School, and Yoshu Private School. The fighters of each school bear the sacred jewels called magatama, which contains the essence of warriors from the Three Kingdoms era of Ancient China 1800 years ago, as well as their fates.

In an adventure where teen brawlers are guided by ancient warrior spirits, Hafuku is flashing panties and cracking skulls.
Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny
Modern-day Japan sees a similar struggle to that of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, between different rival schools with the three strongest being; Kyosho Academy led by Sousou Moutoku, Nanyo Academy by Sonsaku Hakufu and Ryuubi Gentoku from Seito High School. Together these three toushi, each with their own magatama, fight for the honour of becoming Ikki Tousen and fulfilling their fated destiny through battle and conquest.
Ikkitousen: Great Guardians
It is Hakufu's ambition to fight against new opponents from all over the world. To pay for the travelling expenses — to be able to visit these tournaments — she got a job, to earn enough money to make her dream come true. Little did Hakufu expect that new allies and enemies would detract from her goal. Or that she might even be considered a weak leader in the eyes of her companions. To top it off a sister suddenly appears, making it painfully obvious to Hakufu that she does not really know much about her mother's past.
Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor
Nanyou Academy, led by Sonsaku Hakufu, allied with Ryuubi Gentoku's Seito High School, have together won a resounding victory over Sousou Moutoku's Kyoushou Academy at the Battle of Chibi. However, there is no rest for the weary as a figure stirs from within the site of the battle... At the same time, another figure stands before the gates of Kyoushou. Upon closer inspection, it turns out to be a high school girl with a ponytail, wearing a jersey and toting a rucksack. She smashes aside all Kyoushou fighters who try to stop her. Occupying the academy's P.A. room, she issues her challenge: "I am Ryoushuu's Bachou Mouki! Fight me, Sousou Moutoku!" The peace won at Chibi is short-lived. Despite the recent setback, Sousou Moutoku is fast recuperating his power. In addition, a new faction arises in the form of Nanban High School.

The Champions
Seven schools are competing for complete control over the region of Kanto. The students are known as "Fighters", and each carry a sacred bead, or Magatama, and enclosed in it is a spirit of an ancient fighter from 1800 years ago in Chinese history. The Fighters are destined to the fates of their Magatama. Enter Hakufu Sonsaku, a big-breasted, air-headed bimbo, who joins the ranks of Nanjou Academy, alongside her cousin, Koukin. Encassed in her Magatama is the spirit of a fierce warrior who conquered the lands 1800 years previous, but was killed at an early age. The Big Four of Nanyou Academy see her as a threat and wish to prevent history from repeating itself.
A Confrontation at Nanyou
Fighters from Rakuyo High School have been found hanging around near Nanyou Academy. Rakuyo is headed by the fierce Fighter Totaku, who has conquered a couple of the schools in Kanto. Other schools have been banding together against him. Meanwhile, while running late for school, Koukin reveals to Hakufu that he would be willing to sacrifice himself if it meant protecting her. Gakushu questions Saji over Nanyou Academy's leader, Enjyutsu, whom he has not seen in months. Gakushu feels that there is something going on that he has been kept in the dark about. Enjyutsu sees Hakufu as a threat and issues the order to Big Four member Kannei to execute her to prevent her destiny from being fulfilled. This order is given to the whole of Nanyou Academy, and results in Hakufu doing battle with Kannei and Ryomou, while Koukin fights all of the students and Saji. Will they all survive? And what is Saji planning?
My Chastity is in Danger
Following on from the previous episode, Hakufu Sonsaku has defeated Big Four member Ryomou, when her defeat looked imminent. However, her victory saw a force take over her body, rending her powerless against it, almost costing Ryomou her life, who is recovering in Hospital. Koukin vows to protect Hakufu so that it never happens again, but Hakufu runs away from home, only to find herself in trouble.
A Duel! Taishiji vs. Sonsaku
The schools throughout Kanto begin to form short-term alliances as a means of disposing of their enemies. Taishiji is given an order to execute Hakufu Sonsaku. After his school's Fighters render Koukin incapable to fight, Hakufu does battle with Taishiji himself. How will it all end?
An Angry Hakufu and a School Wide Counterattack
The Great Fighter's Tournament is approaching quickly. Totaku, the previous victor, is hoping that the other schools will eliminate each other, leaving him to do battle with the sole, under-strengthed school left in the tournament (other than his own), and in order for ends to meet, he has rigged the draw for the tournament. Hakufu goes on a rampage to avenge Taishiji, but is defeated, until the spirit awakens within her once again...
The Great Tournament Begins
The new Fighters Tournament has now commenced. Which school will come out on top? Will anyone defeat Toutaku? How will Nanjou Academy go with Hakufu Sonsaku fighting for them? And will the spirit living inside her be awakened once again?
A Confrontation With Destiny
Hakufu and Koukin manage to fend off the crazed snake-like Kannei Kouha. Ryofu continues to pursue her own relationships with the possibility of betraying Tontaku. Shimei Ryomou fights the beautiful but deadly schoolgirl-uniformed Kanu Unchou of Seito Private School on the rooftops. Hakufu gets in another battle as well.
Why! The Betrayal of Gōei!
Nanyou Academy gets to fight Kyoshou Academy in this round. Hakufu Sonsaku is up against Kakouton "Basic" Genjou, but Aunt Goei arrives; whom will she support? Ryomou's opponent, Kakuka Houkou isn't a pushover either. Meanwhile, Kaku Bunwa and Ryofu Housen get into a heated conflict; Ryofu Housen and Chinkyuu Koudai decide to walk away from Toutaku's gang.
