The Average Girls' Taste of Red
At the year's end comes Marron Confectionery's inevitable employee evaluations. Third-year non-regular employees Jung Da-hae, Kang Eun-sang, and Kim Ji-song are no exception. As the results bring joy for some and disappointment for others, Eun-sang is oddly cheerful, even humming to herself. Meanwhile, with Da-hae's birthday approaching, her boyfriend Byeong-jun suddenly goes missing, plunging her into extreme anxiety.

Between Diligence and Inferiority
After hearing about investing in crypto from Eun-sang, Da-hae and Ji-song are intrigued. But Da-hae, reminded of her father, who ruined his life chasing a single big break, forces herself to stay grounded. Meanwhile, the in-house project proposal she submits makes it to the final round of evaluations. Convinced she's finally earning recognition at the company, she devotes herself day and night to preparations until someone breaks into her home.

A Taste For the Averages
After causing a scene at the company dinner, Da-hae is gripped with fear the next day. Meanwhile, Eun-sang is always scheming to make money, and Ji-song, who only thinks about spending it, goes their separate ways. Eun-sang devises a clever money-making plan at work, while Ji-song buys a ticket to China to meet her unfaithful boyfriend Wei Lin.

The Reason I Want to Be Rich
By chance, Da-hae gets caught up in a motel fire incident and ends up getting interviewed on the news. But when her face gets aired without proper mosaic blurring, she suffers great embarrassment. In the aftermath, Eun-sang protests at the TV station on her behalf, only to receive an unexpected phone call. Meanwhile, Da-hae is shocked when she realizes that it was Dr. Ham she spent the night with at the motel.

Star Quality
With Marron Confectionery's 30th anniversary event approaching, Da-hae is busy with preparations when she notices Dr. Ham and Da-hee starring in the company's promotional video, leaving her with mixed feelings. Meanwhile, thanks to Dong-gyu, Ji-song gets added to the accounting team's group chat, and for the first time, she feels the thrill of belonging to the team.

The Art of the Flex
The cryptocurrency surges! To celebrate, Da-hae and Eun-sang decide to take Ji-song on a trip. But their sense of freedom from work doesn't last long. Soon, the obsession with crypto drives their journey toward disaster. Meanwhile, Dr. Ham suddenly asks Da-hae, "What are we to each other?" leaving her extremely flustered.

The Art of Buying the Dip
The crypto crashes. But now's the perfect time to buy more, or so they think. Da-hae, Eun-sang, and Ji-song take on part-time jobs, hoping to fund their rebound. One day, Dae-young unexpectedly shows up as a customer at their part-time gig, but wait a minute, Marron Confectionery has a no side-job policy! With that, the three scramble desperately to hide their secret from Dae-young.

Mother and Daughter
After more than a decade in hiding, Da-hae's father suddenly returns, clutching a crypto mining machine. Not wanting to ruin her mother's upcoming 60th birthday celebration, Da-hae hides the fact that he's back. Meanwhile, Eun-sang crosses paths with her ex-husband, Dong-jun, sparking tension, and Ji-song grows excited thinking about marriage when she hears that Wei Lin is coming to Korea.
