About
Iben and her boyfriend Alex are among the leading figures at the Youth House in Copenhagen; a sanctuary for the city's young people who do not fit in elsewhere. When the Copenhagen Municipality suddenly sells the house to the religious sect, Faderhuset, they and the other young residents come under immense pressure. While Iben tries to draw the attention of politicians and the press, Alex joins a faction of the house that no longer believes in peaceful solutions. "Rebels - Never Surrender" is based on real events leading up to the demolition of the Youth House in 2007, but above all, it is the story of a group of young people who take to the barricades for the right not to conform.

Episode 1
Iben and her boyfriend Alex fight for the Youth House on Jagtvej 69,which the municipality has sold to a religious sect. They have to leave the building before Christmas or they will be forcibly evicted. Iben fights to find a peaceful solution, but a demonstration against Faderhuset goes terribly wrong.
Episode 2
"Hands off, it's our Youth House!" Police declare the demonstration illegal, but that doesn't stop the Youth House. Iben fears it will end in violence, while Alex believes they need to send a clear message or they won't be heard.
Episode 3
The Youth House is offered the chance to relocate to a new house at Nørrebro but this causes division. Tensions also escalate between Iben and Alex, and the many conflicts affect the young Camilla. The group will only accept to relocate if the new place is free. But will the politicians agree to that?
Episode 4
The young people have barricaded themselves in the Youth House. Camilla has a break down, and the conflict between Iben and Alex reaches its peak. Iben faces the biggest dilemma of her life: How far is she willing to go for the Youth House?
Episode 5
Police storm the house with chainsaws, tear gas, and automatic weapons. It seems the fight for the Youth House is lost. But are there really any winners?
