Three parents, who are childhood friends, want to watch a film together on a weekday, a simple wish from life.What follows is two days of a roller-coaster ride full of constipated children, grandparents not willing to babysit, expensive phones being flung in the air and toddlers' emotional blackmail when a parent is leaving. Will they make it to the film?
Baap ki Baapta
Radhika is triggered by a random person calling her a housewife and starts looking for a job, while Avinash faces intense challenges at home as takes up a ‘work project’. Meanwhile, Suman for the first time in life, spends some quality time with her ‘un-involved’ father.

The three friends go on a day-trip to pick up a nanny for Kadambari, as an endless misadventure is masterminded by an unexpected nemesis.

Meanwhile, Avinash deals with social anxiety as he faces his family and extended family who challenge his masculinity over his decision to be a stay at home parent, and Suman starts feeling like a guest in her own house after her in-laws come to visit.
Worst Birthday Ever
Radhika is on her worst behaviour on her 33rd birthday. It’s a house party where for the first time, all three families are present together. Suman grapples with confronting Sattu about the in-laws moving in, while Avinash deals with the decision of taking up a full-time job. However, no one can focus on their own drama because Radhika locks herself in the bathroom.
Sabudana Khichdi
Radhika chooses to terminate her pregnancy and is dealing with immense physical and mental pain for which Rishi cannot be present. Avinash and Suman hold her through this life altering experience.
