About
Paz Roble, a kind, hard-working and honest woman from whom her husband, Fermín, takes her newborn daughter. Fermín has a large debt with some lenders and to pay it he decides to sell his daughter to Mauro Nicoliti. This plagiarism is orchestrated by Geneva, Mauro's adoptive sister. She lost her first-born daughter in childbirth and does everything to replace her dead daughter and keep her husband's fortune. On the other hand, Esteban Villa de Cortés loses his wife and becomes a widower with his three children. Elvira Moncada, Esteban's mother-in-law, holds him responsible for the death of her daughter. After a series of unexpected events, Esteban and Paz meet in the neighborhood where she lives with her family. The chemistry and great understanding that exists between them makes it inevitable that they will fall in love.

To get out of debt with the lenders, Fermín sells his newborn daughter to Mauro. Paz, wanting to meet her baby, receives the worst news of her life. Esteban is enjoying a family vacation when an unexpected event changes his life.

With the help of artificial intelligence, Ginebra records a video posing as Berenice to kill Esteban. Esteban is about to be attacked on the street when Paz comes to his defense and they introduce themselves. Paz and Esteban tell each other the secrets of her past and he assures her that they will soon find the tranquility they long for.
Conocí a una mujer muy interesante
Esteban confesses to Kenzo that he was impressed when he met Paz since she has something special and reveals that he wants to see her again. Before finishing off Elias, Ginebra confesses to him that Samara does not carry his blood since her real daughter died at birth. Paz accepts the job that Esteban proposed, he visits her at her house to talk to her about her responsibilities, but Fermín finds them together.
A partir de ahora ya no soy la esclava de Elias
Fermín returns to Paz's life ready to win her back, he steals a kiss from her, but she slaps him. Samara is taken to a church where she is sworn that she will receive the necessary help, but her blanket escapes her and the situation becomes complicated. Mauro informs Geneva that he will no longer hear from Samara, she celebrates. Gala doesn't want to gain weight and to maintain her figure, she starts not eating.
Me identifico con usted porque estoy pasando por el mismo dolor
'Gorila' forces Samara to steal so that she can enjoy food now that she lives on the street. Geneva reveals to Mauro that she only feels hatred for Elvira, since she does not believe in her suffering. Esteban reveals to Paz that he is afraid that Elvira will take her children away from him, so she suggests putting together a plan so that doesn't happen. Samara begins to ask for money on a bridge and crosses paths with Paz, who is impressed by her upon meeting her.

Elvira shows Gala the video that Berenice left before she died where she recognizes that Esteban deceived her, since he was only by her side because of her money. Elvira finds another video of Berenice where she declares that her mother only became a burden in her life. Paz arrives at Geneva's house to inform her that she saw her daughter asking for money, she confronts Mauro for lying to her. Paz arrives at the prison to bring Esteban some food and to inform him that her children believe in her innocence.
Berenice, ahora voy por tu marido
Esteban receives the news that he has regained his freedom, Paz congratulates him and he does not hesitate to hug her. Nandy confesses to Mireya that she feels very grateful for the support that her family gave her when she was going through very difficult times. Elvira recognizes in front of her grandchildren that Esteban is innocent and assures that someone is causing them a lot of harm. Ginebra starts working at Elvira's company and upon seeing Berenice's photograph she swears that she is going to stay with Esteban, after she took everything that belonged to him.

Elvira bursts into tears when she reveals that before Berenice, she had a daughter about whom she knows nothing; Geneva calls Elvira the worst mother in the world. Ginebra confesses to Mauro that Esteban worried about her, he begs him not to ruin her plans. Fermín demands that Rubio no longer approach Paz Roble, Ginebra is surprised to hear her name and questions him if that woman is the mother of her daughter.
