The Age of Vikings, the 6th century to the end of the 11th century

A new era sees the light of day when farmers from our country go to sea and make themselves known throughout Europe - and further afield. The Vikings bring riches and new knowledge back to the Nordic countries. In time, a new religion will take root here, a faith that challenges the Viking way of life. God Gives and God Takes, the 12th century to the end of the 14th century

These are good times for the Swedes who have now become Christians. The economy is booming and the harvests are good. The population grows and the Swedish empire begins to be built step by step. The Battle for the Throne, year 1361-1560

A time in the cruel shadow of the plague follows, filled with bloody rebellions and evil sudden death.
