Show host Ryan Seacrest leads the traditional countdown at midnight, and co-host Jenny McCarthy joins him throughout the broadcast, live from Times Square. Legendary musician Billy Joel will appear in a special live performance from Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Other performers includes Blondie, Capital Cities, Miley Cyrus, Daughtry, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Icona Pop, Enrique Iglesias, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke and The Fray.
2014
Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line headlined from Times Square for the 2014-15 edition of New Year's Rockin Eve; they were among 38 acts featured in total during the special. Fergie hosted the re-christened Billboard Hollywood Party segments of the special, and also performed. The special featured studio appearances by Bastille, Charli XCX, Idina Menzel, Iggy Azalea, Magic!, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, Pentatonix, Ella Henderson, and Rixton. The special featured live performances by Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum from Nashville's Bash on Broadway, and a performance by Elton John from his New Year's concert at Barclays Center.
2015
Ryan Seacrest hosts and leads the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City as he has for the last 10 years, with live reporting from actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy. New York headliner Carrie Underwood will be joined by Luke Bryan, Demi Lovato and Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, who will perform. Hosted by Fergie, the Billboard Hollywood Party will feature performances by headliner One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fall Out Boy, Andy Grammer, Ellie Goulding, Elle King, Tove Lo, Rachel Platten and WALK THE MOON.
2016
This year marks the continued expansion of the iconic annual New Year's Eve tradition with coverage from New Orleans, Louisiana, in its first-ever Central Time Zone countdown. The live segments will include exclusive performances from the Allstate Fan Fest, where New Orleans locals and tourists gather annually to celebrate the New Year and usher in the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl, and interviews leading up to the midnight countdown and stunning fleur-de-lis drop near Jackson Square to ring in the New Year. Ryan Seacrest will lead the traditional countdown to midnight live from New York City, with actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy in Times Square, and superstar Fergie returning to host the Billboard Hollywood Party in Los Angeles.

America's favorite TV/radio broadcaster Ryan Seacrest returns to host television's largest live broadcast New Year's celebration, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018, again joined by actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy. The show also announced that multiplatinum music superstar Ciara will officially ring in the New Year from the west coast as the new host of the Hollywood Party.

This year’s show will span multiple time zones, with celebrations kicking off in New York and continuing through Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico and beyond. In Chicago, GRAMMY®-winning independent innovator, humanitarian and proud hometown native Chance the Rapper joins the broadcast as co-host to help welcome in the new year from the Midwest and lead the live Central Time Zone countdown. In Las Vegas, NFL legend Rob Gronkowski returns alongside multihyphenate performer and presenter Julianne Hough, who makes her “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” co-hosting debut as they take over the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Details for the Puerto Rico celebration will be announced soon.
