The show is about Mankameshwar Maurya urf Mannu, a young man who firmly believes in the principle that ‘Agar maine kisi ke saath bura nahi kiya, toh mere saath bhi kabhi bura nahi hoga’. His idealistic approach puts him in tricky situations. Surviving a broken marriage. Closed ones taking advantage of him. A ruthless world that tries to bring him down. Mannu still chooses to see the silver lining in and keep a positive attitude towards life.

Season 1
The Wedding Day
Manu's life is introduced where he lives in Lucknow and works hard for a respectful future. On the other hand, his 'Daadi' is his support and confidant who advises him on every aspect of his life. It is Manu's wedding today but he is working his shift in the morning and asks for a half-day to attend his own wedding.
Trying To Stay Positive
a police inspector informs the groom's family that the bride has run away with the wedding jewelry. Mannu is heartbroken about it but still tries to look on the brighter side and doesn't let the situation overwhelm him. How will Mannu be bailed out now or will he stick in prison for more time?
Jai Mata Di Tent House
Mannu gets to know that he lost his job due to having a criminal case on him. Upset and defeated, he tries to see on the brighter side by deciding to reopen his grandfather's business of "Jai Mata Di Tent House." Will this be a start to his new career life? Will this prove to be a good turn of events?
Shyamlal Gets Humiliated By The Bank
Mannu and his father Shyamlal Maura visit different banks to get a business loan for seven lakh rupees. Mannu wants to start a tent house and needs this money. Shyamlal takes him to a bank where they meet Ganesh, the bank manager whose father was a close friend of Shyamlal. The bank denies giving them a loan due to their bad civil score.
Mannu Agrees For Marriage
Mannu sees no beam of light to get a loan from a bank for their tent house. He is in a dilemma about whether to accept the offer of Daddy Ji. Daadi Maa narrates to him an incident about his childhood, that once he was in need of oxygen and an accident victim had helped him to arrange for oxygen. Mannu gets to know that the person was Daddy Ji himself. He calls him and agrees to marry his daughter Gargi which will also get him seven lakh rupees.
Mannu Got Married
Mannu is in wedding clothes with his newly married wife astounds the Maurya family. Mannu explains to his grandmother why he particularly has done what he actually has done, pretty contrary to popular belief. Will the new daughter-in-law definitely be accepted?
Gargi Gets A VIP Treatment
Mannu is married to Gargi, she has been taken care of by her father for all her needs. Mannu wakes up in the morning and cleans the bathroom as Gargi will be using it in the morning. He runs to the shop to get a room freshener for the washroom. A quarrel starts in the family after she is given VIP treatment by Mannu and Amma Ji.
Gargi Is Still Angry With Daddy
