Samvidhan a.k.a Sam and Aadhya, two sidekicks, have always lived in the shadows of their popular best friends and gone completely unnoticed in Lucknow Central Convent school. Until the two of them finally take notice of each other, albeit under awkward and unusual circumstances, and a surprisingly easy friendship begins. For the first time in their lives, they feel like they belong. But will falling in love be as easy, and for how long can two sidekicks remain heroes of their own love story, before insecurities, changing dynamics and growing pains get the better of them?

After a complaint to their strict school principal, Samvidhan and Prateek are not allowed to perform their rap on the Founder’s Day of Lucknow Central Convent school. Samvidhan assumes that Aadhya has made the complaint and has a huge showdown with her. But this misunderstanding leads to an unexpected friendship. Could this be the start of a new romance between the two sidekicks?

Aadhya and Sam form an organic connection and discover they have a lot in common. The once-enemies now talk all day on their phones and through hidden messages left in their favourite book in the school library for each other. Sam realises that he is in love for the first time and decides to propose to her. As Aadhya's strict mother Vandita joins school as a substitute teacher, bad timing and luck continue to be his fatal foes. When Sahil, the most popular senior in school, becomes a huge bone of contention between Sam and Aadhya, Sam decides to break up with Aadhya, leaving her completely shocked and confused. All this right in the middle of their final exams. Will Sam ever be able to get over his insecurities and stop comparing his sidekick self to Sahil or will he let go of his first love?
