It's Season Six, and where in the heck will the Hecks go from here? As the kids – Axl, Sue and Brick – keep getting older, Frankie and Mike think family life is going to get easier, but they couldn't be more wrong! Bigger kids only means bigger problems! Whatever the Hecks do, do not attempt it at home!

Season 7
The Middles seventh smash season sees the Hecks breaking out of their comfort zones and navigating new situations than what they're used to.

Season 8
In Season 8, the Heck kids break out of their comfort zones and navigate new situations. Axl discovers the love of his life. Sue changes her major to drama. And Brick has made it his mission to fit in with his high school peers. With an emptier nest, Frankie and Mike cut back on the parental duties – easier said than done as parenting continues no matter where your kids are!

In the ninth and final season, Frankie and Mike had hoped to find themselves with an emptier nest, but with Axl now back at home, they find that hope quickly fading. Meanwhile, Sue and Sean Donahue will have to work out their unrequited feelings. And Brick makes a play to be more popular in high school. But, being a Heck, things almost never go quite as smoothly as you’d like!

The Cheerleader
Facing financial disaster, Frankie tries to save her job; Sue fails swim team tryouts, then learns she needs glasses; and Brick starts reading his mother's steamy romance novels.

The Floating Anniversary
Frankie and Mike's romantic plans for their anniversary are thwarted by a sick Brick, a lovesick Sue, a learner's permit-toting Axl, two crazy aunts and their diaper-wearing dog.

The Trip
Frankie urges Sue to fight for her right to attend a class trip after making the grade by selling thousands of dollars worth of sausage and cheese; Brick gets his first girlfriend.

The Block Party
After Brick’s teachers tell his parents that he’s “socially challenged,” Mike tries to help Brick make friends; while Frankie needs her son’s coveted football jersey.

The Front Door
Mike insists that only Axl fix the front door after he knocks it down; Frankie must sell a car within a week; and its school picture time for a photographically challenged Sue.

The Scratch
Frankie must create the illusion of a picture-perfect family when an accident causing a small scratch on Brick leads a social worker to visit the Heck household.

Thanksgiving
Frankie’s dream of the perfect Thanksgiving turns into a nightmare when Mr. Ehlert forces the staff to work on the holiday – and Axl loses Brick in a corn maze.
