Fear
June 1943 - Otto and his comrades receive the order to clean up a forest as part of the preparations for the Citadel enterprise. With fatal consequences.
Home
End of June 1943 - After being wounded, Otto is on convalescent leave at home. There he spends time with his fiancee Luise. But soon Otto must return to the front.
Peace
July 1943 - While heavy fighting rages in the north, the men of the second company are moving away from the main points of attack to secure the flanks of the units deployed in the Citadel Company.
Alone
Mid-July 1943 - The army leadership has decided to wring the Russians down in a final rebellion. This means for Otto and his comrades that the fight goes on. The unit is advancing. After Otto was separated from his comrades he has to fight his way alone and tries to find his unit again. Meanwhile the Wehrmacht is stopped at Kursk and a low loader is approaching.
Wait
End of July 1943 - While the Wehrmacht is involved in fierce rearguard action in the south of the Eastern Front, the 4th Army under General Heinrici manages to hold its position in the central section of the front with only minor losses. In vain, the Red Army has been running against the buried compatriots in the so-called runway battles since the summer. Meanwhile, Otto, who is still struggling with the death of Erich, is waiting with his comrades for the onset of winter.
Everyday
March 1944 - After weeks of heavy fighting in the area of the Heeresgruppe Mitte, the situation for Otto and his comrades from the 2nd Company has calmed down as far as possible. The Red Army, due to its heavy losses, has taken a break from the offensive during the taxiway battles. In the beginning joy and relief prevailed, but all too soon this gave way to boredom and the boring everyday life of the soldiers.
Orscha
End of June 1944 - Otto and his comrades are on the retreat in June 1944. Adolf Hitler himself has appointed Orscha to a permanent position which is to be held at all costs. The second company is ordered to take position and defend the town.
Outbreak
After his serious injury, Otto tries to survive in his home country. Meanwhile, his comrades must fight for their lives on the Eastern Front. The Red Army advances inexorably, and the 2nd Company finds itself in a desperate situation.
