About
Button Moon is a quirky, popular children's television programme broadcast in the United Kingdom in the 1980s on the ITV Network. Thames Television produced each episode, which lasted ten minutes and featured the adventures of Mr. Spoon who, in each episode, travels to Button Moon in his homemade rocket-ship. All of the characters within the show are based on kitchen utensils, as well as many of the props. Once on Button Moon, which hangs in "blanket sky", they have an adventure, and look through Mr. Spoon's telescope at someone else such as the Hare and the Tortoise, before heading back to their home on 'Junk Planet'. Episodes also include Mr. Spoon's wife, "Mrs. Spoon", their daughter, "Tina Tea-Spoon" and her friend "Eggbert". The series ended in 1988 after 91 episodes.

Three Little Pigs
Mr. Spoon recieves a spaceship from Mrs. Spoon, so now he can fly from Junk Planet where the Spoon family live through Blanket sky and on to Button Moon. Through his telescope he sees the Three Little Pigs.
The Witch's Toast
Mr. Spoon meets Captain Large and the Bottle Army. Through his telescope he sees a Witch's magic.
Billy Goat's Gruff
Through his telescope, Mr. Spoon spies a Billy Goat.
Sid and Baby
Mr. Spoon travels to Button Moon and meets Sid and Baby.
The Three Wishes
Mr. Spoon flies to Button Moon where he meets up with Captain Large and the Bottle Army. He also meets Bertie and Gertie, who have three wishes.
Storks
On his way to Button Moon, Mr. Spoon sees the stars in Blanket Sky playing a game. Through his telescope he sees two bird's and a camel who help cheer up a sad princess.
The Duck Who Forgot What He Was
Mr. Spoon helps find the saucers the cups have lost. Through his telescope he spots a duck who has lost it's memory.
Scruffy and the Bone
Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees a pair of dogs playfully named Scruffy and Basil who play "Hunt the Bone".
