Latin America has 35,000 kilometres of borders that represent the geographical limits of each country. They are also the line that separates the legal from the illegal. A very thin line that many are willing to cross. Yet, at each border, many men and women stand their ground, from the police to customs enforcement, in the hopes of stopping those who are trying to break the law.

Forbidden Fruits
On the border of Brazil and Paraguay, police arrest a woman for smuggling goods and drug trafficking; in Peru, customs seizes a shipment of marijuana camouflaged among bananas, and in Colombia.
Whiskey Fishermen
In the Gulf of Urabá in Colombia, customs officials intercepted a fishing boat smuggling whiskey. On the border between Brazil and Paraguay, police were astonished when two drunken men attempted to cross with a huge marijuana plant.
White Jungle
Peruvian police discover a drug lab in the Amazon rainforest. Meanwhile, on the border between Brazil and Paraguay, officers must subdue an irate man attempting to cross the border with suspicious documents.
High Speed
A smuggler attempts to flee across the Brazilian border and crashes his car into a police vehicle. Later that night, customs agents surprise illegal money changers at the Ipiales border crossing.
Dawn Raid
Ecuador is in turmoil as special forces raid the home of two drug traffickers, while on the Colombian borders agents combat the illegal sale of currency and the smuggling of food.
Nothing is what it seems
In a control operation at the crossing of motorcycles entering Brazil from Paraguay, an illegal shipment is discovered in a "moto-taxi" while in Colombia an agent is run over while trying to stop an illegal entry of food.
Banana Getaway
A mother and her son try to escape after being intercepted by customs at the Ecuador-Colombia border crossing, while at the Friendship Bridge in Brazil, police arrest a minor with a shipment of marijuana.
Fake but real
During a vessel inspection operation, the anti-narcotics unit in Iquitos discovered an abandoned shipment of cocaine. Meanwhile, an Argentinian family was identified by a canine unit at the Chilean-Peruvian border.
